There has been a great deal written about the Masonic family on infinite web pages. Please feel free to read the information about the fraternity on the Grand Lodge of Michigan F&AM website. We support the tenants of Freemasonry and support the Grand Lodge of Michigan. On our website however, we wish to share, more specifically, what the Masonic Organizations of Grand Blanc are about.
First, we are about family. Our families are the source our worldly strength for the lives we live, and we are devoted to supporting our own and each others families through a strong sense of community.
Secondly, we are about community. Our community is where we have chosen to build our lives and raise our families. Because of that choice, we see it as our responsibility and honor to respect and care for the community as a whole, as well as organizations building the quality and character of our community and its members.
Third, we are about charity. We are well aware of the need we all have for outside support during difficult times. We seek to infuse the community with a feeling of charity. In our current society, many believe that charity simply is a dollar amount. Although money is often required to support charititable causes, it is often more important that support be in the form of charitable acts. We seek to give charitably in action first.
Within the Masonic family, there are multiple organizations including, but not limited to, The Masons, Order of the Eastern Star, DeMolay, Job's Daughters, Rainbow, and The Shriners. There is a place for men and women of all ages to participate in what the Masonic family has to offer.
